STUDENT WORK: Utilize Google Classroom and Google Drive for easy access to student work. In Classroom, click on 'People' in a specific class, and then click on a student's name to see all of his/her work on one page. In Drive, search a student's name in the search bar, and all of his/her work will be listed.
RELATIONSHIPS: Share what you have done to build relationships with your students and between students in your classroom this semester. From there, share what you have learned about a particular student due to these efforts and how you plan to build on this throughout the rest of the school year.
GOOGLE CLASSROOM: Consider showing parents your Google Classroom page and how students have been encouraged to utilize it in class and independently.
ENDING A CONFERENCE: If you have a parent who wants to continue the conversation past their allotted time, provide a courteous salutation: "Mrs. Williams, thank you for meeting with me today, but as I mentioned I have another family waiting. Thank you for your time today."
INVITE YOUR CHAIR: If you believe the conference will be a challenging one, consider inviting your Department Chair.
